Requiem for Spring'19
- taking 12 plane rides, 8 of which happened in the last 3 weeks;
- seeing my dearest friends and realizing HOW MUCH I miss them and how grateful I am for having them;
- struggling with insomnia, spiraling thoughts and anxiety attacks;
- sobbing during the wedding of my best friend when seeing her father walking her down the aisle;
- remembering all the good times we spend together with Ira to prepare for the best wedding toast I’ve ever written;
- showing C. where I grew up;
- eating shawarma at 2 am at Komarovka;
- being proud of my Mom for passing a tough exam;
- being grateful to my Dad, who is willing to help me at any time no matter what;
- moving out from the place where I spent my last 4 years;
- moving in with C. into an apartment of my dreams;
- having wonderful dinner night at Vikulia’s place - a time that was filled with joy and pure happiness of us being all together again;
- going to physical therapy;
- singing 6-2-6 Bedford Avenue… at the Drums concert;
- celebrating 1st birthday of my sweet baby niece;
- sewing my first ever tote bag;
- traveling to Google I/O;
- eating freshest oysters at the fish market in Catania;
- making Aperol the drink of the trip;
- meeting the sweetest Sicilian Airbnb host, who baked us pastries and told us we are young and beautiful;
- visiting hospital twice;
- getting little surprises from C.
- loosing my wallet a day before the trip and finding it in the middle of the street in a rainy Brooklyn night;
- singing to Bob Marley songs in an Uber in Mountain View;
- trying to see the dearest people at least for few minutes;
- saying a lot of goodbyes;
- listening to new Vampire Weekend album;
- sneaking in for coffee to meet with one of the best mentors;
Short version: унесет в моря мою печаль я буду здесь я буду помнить
